One of our stylists will be dedicated to just YOU for your entire dress shopping experience. That could be 60 minutes for a Individual Shopping Experience or 90 minutes for Group Shopping Experience where you can have up to 4 guests join you. We only carry dresses for the moms and grandmothers. No bridal gowns or bridesmaid dresses. We are all about the Moms!
We strongly encourage an appointment, especially on weekends. If you happen to walk-in and we have a free time slot, we will help you. Otherwise, we will get an appointment scheduled for you. Because we want to protect the integrity of our gowns, we do not allow customers to browse and try on dresses without an appointment. Click here to schedule an appointment or call us at 513-761-8999.
Because we are off-the-rack, we are diligent in maintaining the quality of the dresses. Having people browse and touch the dresses can result in damage. To ensure our dresses are highest quality, our stylists handle the dresses. If a stylist is not available, we do not allow people to go through the dresses. We are happy to help find appointments. From the time you enter the door, you will be our focus. Your stylist will help you find a dress you will love. You will use one of our 4 comfortable, well-lit and spacious dressing rooms. The dressing room is yours during your appointment along with a viewing area for you and your guests if you choose to bring guests. We are not commission-based so our priority is making your experience the best versus being a “hard sell” environment. All of our shopping experiences are free of charge. We also provide complementary coffee, water, soda and mimosas!
No. You can schedule a Private Shopping Experience where it is just you and one of our stylists. Whatever you want and need, The Queen’s Lace is here to serve to you.
Please bring and wear undergarments. You are welcome to wear your own strapless bra, shapewear or whatever you feel you might want to wear under your gown. If you do not wear undergarments (underwear) you will not be permitted to try on the gowns and you will be asked to reschedule your appointment.
With over 700 dresses to choose from, we have dresses from over 30 designers. We do not have every dress in every size from every designer, but the selection is large enough that we are confident we can help you find something you will love.
We carry size 0 through size 30 in a wide range of styles and colors.
Prices range from $300 to $900 with most dresses at $400 - $600.
We do not do alterations, but we have several Cincinnati-based seamstresses as seamstresses in Dayton/Tipp City, Columbus, Louisville and Lexington that you can work with to adjust your dress if needed.
Mothers are usually busy helping their children prepare for the big day and their dress shopping can become a last-minute need. The Queen’s Lace stocks over 700 dresses providing mothers of the bride and groom immediate access to elegant dresses. Keep in mind if alterations are needed, they can take 1-2 months.

We do not carry bridesmaid dresses and we do not carry prom (or homecoming) dresses. There are a number of bridal boutiques in The Reading Bridal district that do.
