After trying on dresses as major department stores and ordering internationally, I was still not pleased. With three week til the wedding, I decided to make an appointment. Kim helped me find a gown that made me feel beautiful. I wish I had made The Queen's Lace my first stop, passing the agonizing, expensive, frustrating two month search. I felt felt beautiful as we celebrated my dauther's wedding and our 30th anniversary.

I was very hesitant going dress shopping as a Mother of the groom with an imperfect body and uncertain color options! I am a plus sized woman so dress shopping is never fun! I walked in and Katie was that warm welcome I needed! She reassured me everything was going to be alright and open myself up for styles I would not normally try! I’ve never had such a pleasant experience! Every dress I put on, all the stylists commented and I was instantly a movie star! The owner, Kim, was absolutely an inspiration and we just had that Mom to Mom talk that just felt like one of my friends giving me reassurance! There’s something about kindness and compassion that just makes you feel beautiful! I found the perfect dress for my body and I can’t wait to stand with my Son for his day! I will never go anywhere else for formal wear again! Thank you again ladies! You’ve got a friend in me for life! 🙏🏻💕 And….little Vinnie says Hi!

This was my third wedding but ( unfortunately) only the first time I had heard about Queen’s Lace! I’m a big woman (5’9” and 200+lbs) and I wasn’t sure what style works best with my figure. We really enjoyed shopping for Mother of Bride and Groom dresses. I was dreading this process, but it was fun. We both found gorgeous dresses which complimented the wedding party and each other.
